Teaching Practice: Phase 1: Day 31

In 8E class, I continued with the topic 'Adverb,' after revising verbs dealt with in the previous class. I explained adverbs and their types using charts - adverb of time, place, manner and frequency. Initially, the learners find difficulty in grasping the different types of adverbs. So I provided a number of additional examples to them.  Then they were instructed to complete a few exercises on the topic. They were required to write down the answers in the activity cards distributed to them. They also did the textual exercises related to adverbs. After each activity, answers were discussed,  doubts were dispelled and necessary explanations were given. In 9F and 9H classes, notes were dictated and a few pending exercises from the English Reader were put to discussion. The learners wrote down the activities in their notebooks.
